Replacement for generator hour meter

The hour meter for my generator has died. It is a Hobbs LCD 12-48VDC
meter that mounts on the dash. My Bounder is 10 or 11 years old and I can't find a replacement. Does anyone know the correct part number?
Thanks in advance.

That's how I tell when it is time to service the generator. All I worry about is run time since last service.

4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Is your hour meter digital or mechanical? If it's digital it may just be in need of a battery. Many of the digital meters need a backup battery to keep the display and memory alive. I have several on machines that use this feature. The battery supplied with the meter usually has about a 10 year life.

I recently had to change the batteries in 2 different meters. The batteries have to be removed and replaced within 15 seconds for the meter to retain it's memory. It isn't difficult to do if you have everything in place before starting. Unfortunately if the battery goes dead, or the meter is unpowered for more than 15 seconds the meter will restart with 0 hours on the display once the battery is replaced.

If you can't find the exact replacement I'd just mount/glue any 12V hour meter in a convenient location. Run the 12V wire from the old meter to the new plus a ground.
