I am in the process of installing a Whirlpool WRT771RWYB 21 cu ft as it's 32.5"W X 34" D and it's height is only 65.5". By cutting out the thin board at the top of the hole that the 1200 uses to hold it in, it should fit without any other changes. It's the only refer I've found that does not require major modifications as most are 69+" high. Sears Outlets in Egin,IL still has it in white and Naperville, IL in black.
So does the new fridge stick out seven inches further then the Norcold 1200 LRIM? WOW! I do not think I would want another fridge to stick out that much.
No Ray, it won't. It may be 7" deeper, but it doesn't require the room behind it the Norcold does.
Take a look at the pictures in the link Dennis provided and you'll see.
Also read Ivylogs post again - the bold parts above.
Bruce, what I am comparing is the Fridge from the original poster who states that his four door fridge is 27"deep. I assume he is referring to a Norcold 1200 LRIM.
So if Ivylog installed a fridge that is 34" deep I believe that is seven inches deeper. So you know you can not go further then the wall, so that means it sticks out seven inches. Got it MR Brown?
I was not talking about fitting the fridge in. Width and Height are about the same as the Norcold 1200, but to get those extra inches of storage in the fridge the only way is out towards the inside.
