Retractable Sunshield

Has anyone installed a retractable sunshield like the one from Eclipse or Dash Designs?

The Eclipse looks like it would block some of the edge view through the windshield.

I think the Eclipse type shade is used on some Bs. I believe Winnebago puts them on the ERAs. You still have to shade your two side windows. Adding to the post vision blocking might be a concern. Technically it might even be illegal in some states. Minnesota supposedly does not allow suction cup mounted GPS units on the windshield yet the MN State DNR will put a 4" square annual pass sticker on your windshield. So go figure.

I ordered an Eclipse shade for the windshield for our 2007 Roadtrek 210P (our chassis was actually a 2006) and it not only fit perfectly, it was wonderful. We sold the RT last year and now have a Phoenix Cruiser 2350 Class C. Thanks for your post, because it reminded me that I was going to order one for this 2350. I live in a hot, sunny part of the country and it really made a difference in the RT staying cooler up front. Also, we just used it as the privacy shade for the front window, pulled the side currents out to just cover the side windows adn that left the dash unobstructed. That is where we tossed our caps and other stuff when we were camped and got them out of the way. That dash makes a great storage area when camped for more than a day for small quilts, towels, etc.

It worked well for us and we couldn't have been happier with the product.
