The box "swings away" from the vehicle and allows access to the rear doors on the Roadtrek. If you have a continental kit spare, an extension is required and they sell them also. Be aware that the extension to get past the spare adds another foot to the length and then there is the box itself. I seem to recall the whole affair adds about three feet to the back of the coach from the doors.
I owned a Roadtrek 210 for many years and considered buying one of these setups but never did do it. I did buy a cheap hitch carrier at Walmart for less than a hundred bucks and just strapped a storage box to it. Still, you have to remove the stuff most of the time to open the rear door, at least on my 210 that was true. The swing hitch and box is a little pricey but very well made. Others on this forum probably have used them and can offer more help. You can call the Stowaway company, tell them your exact rig and they can tell you what your alternatives are with their products.
