It had holes in it and was letting the flies out I could have bought a new one for less money :B

Why would you use this stuff on a screen door?

LOL. You probably didn't follow directions to mount the screen door on the bottom of a boat. You can't blame anyone else for your lack of sense.;)

well, the two posters who actually used the stuff say it worked good!...the ones who never used it say it is junk!....and it is not like undercoating. Flexseal dries to a flexible rubber coat, undercoat is just spray on tar imo.

I haven't used Flexseal, but it appears suspiciously similar to vehicle undercoat you can buy at all the car parts places for half the cost of the TV stuff. Eternabond tape is available at Walmart, marine dealers and RV/motorhome places. I swear it will last longer than most of us. the self-leveling caulk is also durable, but can be a mess. Plus you need a caulk gun. But sometimes its fun to make a mess.

A consumer reporter on a local TV staion up here did a test on "Flexseal". According to their tests, it didn't do a darned thing as claimed on the TV commercial. Ended up with "two thumbs down".

Used Flex Seal two years ago, no leaks, still looks like it did the day I put it on.

An older fellow that I know bought the Flex Seal several years ago and I was camping with him and it started to rain. He had tried to seal it with caulking prior to the rain, but the water was running all over his bed. He has an older Class C. I got up on his roof and sprayed it while the roof was still wet and was still raining slightly. It stopped the leak and is still holding two years later.

Good Idea, use Eternabond. Flexseal might work as undercoating for the chassis but it won't stop a water leak.

It's a short term fix at best and UV is going to eat that junk up fast. You don't wan't to make half-arsed repairs to a roof.
