RV Buying Shows on Cable TV

Yuch! Nice youngish families with little kids being shown huge Class C's and A's costing up to 1/2 million dollars. Prospective buyers are obviously noobs to RV's with stars in their eyes and often opting for luxury A's, never having driven an RV before. It would be good to see some honest and down to earth shows or series that really inform beginners and answer typical questions on what is available, new and used and buying tips, floor plans, lengths, slides, towing , and how RV's are set up and used in primitive vs RV park settings, day trips to local parks, theme parks, and events like airshows, etc. Some basic information on owner RV maintenance, tires and safe RV driving techniques would be valuable too. (Maybe I'm dreaming)

Not only was it a Lamborghini they referred to it as a classic Lamborghini. Of course then they had the obviously staged scène where the wife almost backed into it because she couldn't find the brake and of course there just happened to be a camera there. Obviously just a commercial for Lazy Days.

No.... This is reality tv. They can't just make stuff up and do stuff like hire actors and just tell you the good stuff about RVing. The show is just like when my family bought our RV. By that I mean lots of smiles, misdirection, and bull ship from the salesman. Did anyone see "The Beaver" or "Wally" running around the lot?

Those shows are just 1 hour commercials. And the "buyers" are actors. Note that none of those "first time buyers" ever ask about operating costs.

Personal opinion is this is partially paid for by Lazy Days, and the folks that agree to be on there get a better deal or some such reimbursement. Otherwise I agree with bordercollie, however the hoped for kind of show would never make it because there's not much "WOW" factor involved.
I do enjoy looking at all the nice amenities some folks seem to think they need...
