I have seen a couple vehicle fires in person.

I am amazed at the extent or the fire damage and the heat produced.

From this video and other RV fire videos they also are very extensive and appear to burn very hot.

What an awful thing to happen, especially, it being their full-time home.

Watching the video, it appears that they have a diesel pusher from looking at the front-end and the distance the front wheels are from the front bumper.

I thought that a complete failure of the air brake system would lock the brakes down and the motorhome would not roll. The coach still had momentum even with the tires exploding making them flat.

It's good to see a hero who risked his own life to save others.

Safe travels,

Apparently God didn't bless the MH and its owners.

You could not be more correct . It can be applied to everything in life.

After seeing this on the news and seeing how that military vet risked his life to save the woman trapped inside . Its people like that , that make this world go around.
Having malfunctioning tank level gauges doesn't seem so important anymore.

I'm curious as to why they had the Norcold fridge in the engine compartment.

the linked report as well as the news this morning said the cause was an overheated brake.

Seems to be an engine compartment fire that was already out of control by the time the driver caught it. I hope he carried plenty of liability insurance because the property damage looks extensive. Fortunately no one was hurt so he only has to deal with property issues.
