so mr h345 am i supposed to understand your statement as to say the dealership is to have no moral obligation to be honest..sincere...trustworthy...just to sell the unit for the best price by any means possible? ???? and when the buyer realizes he has been taken well too bad for him??? your a friggin joke. I did my homework on these units that is why i settled on this one. i have been around these units since 87. I have done a lot of business with dealerships the past 35 years and never have i had one blatantly lie and deceive a customer. when you read the posts over you see that even the locals will not go there but you say it is the buyers fault....again...your a joke do you have a connection to the company??? I have on the other hand seen that ploy done by businesses to cover their butts.

.
Sounds like the typical RV deal/routine . Lack of knowledge on the customers part , opens the profit window for the dealer . If it is not in writing it is not binding .

The Florida Attorney General would have to close up 95% of the RV dealers for the same issues .

I would file a formal complaint with the Florida Dept of Business & Professional Regulation. DBPR. I wish I would have been a member when you first posted. People local to Nokomis will not go near the place. They are featured on our local news for poor business practices several times a year.

ok we just got it back yesterday (wednesday) they had it 3 full weeks and 2 days. I placed two calls to the service manager (still waiting for his return call) both service writers are very good at making excueses. Paid 5k extra for a diesel generator and we did not know at the time but they put in a 20 year old unit. can you believe it. so we are talking with the general manager to see if we can get our money back for it. when it left my jacks were slow going up so i asked if they would check them out and get back with me. well they put grease on them and now they will not work at all. Understand the wife and i really do like the rig, it is what we have been wanting but in now way did we think they would take advantage of us like they did. they could have returned my calls, addressed my concerns and been up front about the 20 year old generator they paid 2800 for....so be ware people....they are the true snake in the grass....

ok wife and i purchased our motorhome this past month and were very happy with the salesman...she did the bickering i am not good i buy with emotion and she knows that so she did good but for service i am not too happy...we live in jacksonville florida and if i could run down there and slap them i would..they have had the unit for 2 weeks now to change out a genny and a few other things...did find out the radiator on the unit (genny) sprung a leak so not entirely their fault but they are not good with commumication. they def don't know how to use email or the phone and they don't like me when i call either. will keep you posted

We bought a new 5th wheel from them and NEVER again. The brother-in-law management model is a total mess and their service is by far the worst in America. Fleetwood itself finally picked up the 5er and moved it to another dealer in the area to get the proper repair done, without a hassle from RV World. My only recommendation is RUN, don't walk to another dealer. As much as I do not like Lazy Days, I would recommend them over RV World of Nokomis.

I have purchased one rv from them. They seemed unorganized. When I went down to purchase the rv, the sales manger gave me the price and said it was good for any of the 3 units in inventory (all were the same they thought except for interior colors). Well as it turns out he was wrong and did not realize until after we had completed the loan and sales paperwork.

Fast forward 2 years and the following is the last communication I had with them ( I believe this sums up how disorganized they are):

"this is not what we went over multiple times yesterday. The deal was 255000 less your dicount less trade in plus payoff= 155000... your number is no where near what we spoke about therefore there is no deal. i could not have been clearer that is why I kept asking if the 155 is including payoff."

good luck

A friend had them give a price on his MH and they quoted a low low wholesale price then said that is what they would pay when they sold it for retail. Didn't sound like a good deal for anyone but the dealership.

We tried to buy a fiver there once but their pricing was too high. We have purchased things in their supply part. The only way to afford that is to talk them into a price match. We were there this past week to purchase RV Goop. Didn't get it as it was $7 MORE than Walmart, a few miles away. If you plan to shop there, know your prices from other sources in advance.
