We placed a request for information regarding replacing our shower surrond in our fleetwood bounder 35E. We are planning to replace with FRP. A member on this website by the handle of CALAMUS responded that he replaced his with the FRP and has held up for 10 years. NEED TO KNOW IF HE USED ADHESIVE ON THE WALLS OR DOUBLE STICK AUTOMOTIVE TAPE?

You have to be careful with adhesives on FRP some will bleed through. I replaced mine back in 2003 I believed I used silicone but could have used a FRP adhesive. It still looks good today and holding up well. Everything I screwed to it is sealed with silicone and I used stainless steel screws.

Here's a novel idea. Why don't you use FRP adhesive?

I have used This material on 35 units. There is a install video that may give you some ideas. Here's a mock up of it.

I replaced my tub surround with FRP. I used glue spread with a trowel with very small notches
