There has to be more than one decent/good RV park around this area, but I can't seem to find anything other than Tall Pines RV Park. Does anyone know of any others? If you've stayed at Tall Pines, how was it??

Try Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area, it is in Benton, LA about 15 minutes north of I220. Great beach, very safe, shade, FHU.

We have stayed at Tall Pines and were not impressed as you could hear the trains. Campers RV is on the other side of 70th Street and you don't hear the trains as loud.

We've also stayed at a couple off IH 220 but did not like them. Train tracks were very close and roads not in good condition. If you are retired military or DOD, the RV campground on base is nice.

We either stay at Campers RV or on base. There is also a new one called Southern Living that is also on 70th, but it has no shade trees, they were all plowed up when they were developing the park.

I would also be interested in any information as we plan to head towards that area in a couple of months. Any park that is decent, safe and clean. We would at least want electric and water with a dump station available.
