how late and how often does the shuttle run. Is it easily accesible at night or would taxi be better and safer to takr from the french quarter to the lake ponchatrain landing rv park

Seems to me it was running to around 11 PM.

I'm not sure what your threshold for better and safer is, but I'd argue that a taxi will be both better (leave when you want) and safer (don't stand around waiting in a bad neighborhood).

I stayed at French Quarter RV resort right next to the French Quarter less than two months ago and walked in for dinner but took the taxi to leave. It felt safer than walking to me.
