Why don't you answer his question. He obviously doesn't want opinions, he eidn't ask for the. Pull the breaker.

When my turn signal is turned on the camera on that side comes on and because I came turning, I can see the towed with that camera. I don't spend a lot of time looking behind my when I'm turning a corner. Just leave it as is.

Tiffin uses 2 brands of Rear View systems. BOTH have the option of turning the individual cameras OFF from the menu programming. What will happen when you do this is, the Screen will go BLACK once you activate the Side Camera. I assume you still want to be able to see the rear camera, so the next item is what you need to do. The other way would be to cut the wire from the left turn signal switch input at the back of the monitor. What I would do is, cut that wire and run it thru a switch mounted on the dash to give me or others the easy option to turn it off or on. Also, I fail to see what advantage you think you get by NOT having it. If you do not like it, then don't look:h Doug

I'm just curious, what do you not like about the system? It seems it would be a benefit to have the cameras on while turning.
Is it annoying?

I can't answer the OPs question, but I can answer yours. I can see what's happening beside me, I can't see what's going on behind me. I'd MUCH rather have the camera still watching the toad and let me keep track of the sides. Please, at least give me the option to choose what I want to see, don't force me to watch the side camera if I don't want to.

That's the one option we ordered on our current MH that I wouldn't order again. Unfortunately they're standard on most stuff today.

I just have rear camera but I would think that it makes more sense to see whats beside you as you turn than your toad which is just going to follow you. Not seeing your toad for 20 seconds doesn't seem like an issue.

I agree with Bruce's comment. I can use my mirrors to clearly see down the sides of coach. I'd rather have my rear camera on so I can see the guy that is going to try to shoot around me even though I have my turn signals on to change lanes. By using my mirrors and rear camera, I see everything. When my side cameras automatically go on, I've lost view of a very important area to monitor.

There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

All though I do not have a Tiffin, I looked at the back connection on my Thor for loose wires the other day. Mine has a connection box where the three cables (sides and back) go into then to the radio which has the screen. By pulling the correct wire at the junction box would stop the picture, however you would still have a blank screen when using the turn signal.

Without knowing your system, I'll make a few guesses.

1. look in the menu of the monitor to see if you can turn off the automatic function of the side camera

2. follow the wire from the camera to the monitor (or switching box) and unplug the wire

3. find the input from the turn signal circuit into the camera/monitor and disable this input.

Side Cameras work with the turn signal. TURN OFF BLINKER and you turn off side camera.
