I've read many threads regarding all types of issues with slides, but not one on perventive maintence service. What I hope, is someone can tell me where I lubercate the slide. I'm guessing the rails that the slide rides on, but what, where else do I apply lube,
What's the best treatment for the rubber gaskets on the slide, silcone?, vasoline?

My advice is free but I do consider donations

I use a dry silicone on all slide mechanisms after cleaning. Anything with grease or oil will collect dirt.
I use 303 protectant on slide seals and wipers.

Use a dry spray on graphite lube on rails/teeth......good wire brushing first.
(Never use grease etc........attracts dirt)

Wipe down hydraulic cylinder piston rod with a clean dry cloth and then lightly spray with silicone

Slides seals......wash/dry then wipe them down with baby/talcum powder.
Is it time for your medication or mine?
