Hi,
Another vote for
Libby's Oceanside Camp in York, ME if you can get in during the season. It will probably be one of the most expensive places you have ever camped, rivaling Disney World's Fort Wilderness, but it is worth it. As they say in real estate....location, location, location.
๐Two towns north we've stayed at
Sea-Vu Campground in Wells, ME. It's much further from the beach, and doesn't have quite the "view" it's name would imply, but still a nice, family run campground.
Generally, we stay at Sea=Vu during the summer and catch Libby's at the end of the season in October when we get up to Maine.
The town of Ogunquit is in between Libby's and Sea-Vu. Plenty of great restaurants in all of the towns. When in the area, make sure yo walk the
Marginal Way in Ogunquit.
Have a great trip.
