Sunseeker 3050S

Hi there, My wife and I are looking at a 2017 Sunseeker 3050S. We love the floor plan and it has all the features we want. My only concern is about the quality. I read a lot of posts that Forrest River is not a top end builder. I'm looking for info on the weak points and strong points they have. I just don't want to buy it if it will give us trouble and headaches in a couple of years.

Those brands, Sunseeker and Forester, have emerged as rising stars over the last several years. I'd definitely consider them.

Our friends just visited us with their 30' Sunseeker. I've always been impressed by their well-thought-out floorplans and apparent quality; and their motorhome is truly beautiful. But it was pretty obvious that Sunseeker builds a solid TV - our friends hit some sort of debris on the expressway that caused their inner dually wheel to explode 😞 The damage to the RV? It took out the wheel-well fender - an easy and cheap repair. Our friend said it appears that the wheelwell itself is metal-reinforced?

We have a 2016 sunseeker 2250 which has had no problems. Fit and finish has been very good w/ fiberglass including the roof.

Recently sold our 2003 Sunseeker 2900S. We never had any major issue with it and 99% of the little things that went wrong were easily fixed. Just saw the newer ones at a recent show they look great and I would have no hesitation buying another one. We went with a new TT for different reasons but none were for poor workmanship!

One can debate brands and models ad nauseum as to concerns real or perceived. Other than a few minor things that I took issue with, I love my Sunseeker and loved my ROO the same.

Happy with our Sunseeker. Took us to Alaska and back last summer. Opps yes the windshield has a crack, but I don't blame that on Forest River.
