We did extensive research looking for a shorter, narrower coach with a large bed. We also wanted cab seats that swiveled and were still comfortable for seating when camping. We needed extra seat belts and at least one more bed ( the Axis has 2 ) for the ability to travel with grand kids if we wanted. The more forward doghouse was also important as it makes accessing the front seats so much easier than our previous A. For all these reasons and many more, it jumped to the top of our list!
