My coach had toast for tires so the selling dealer agreed to instal a new set before the sale. That was in April. They are DynaTracs.
I expressed my concern and he said his tire guy, a truck shop in SC, said they were good tires and he used them for all his company trucks. The dealer said he could put Continentals on it for a much higher price, my option.
Knowing most tires age out before they wear out and not sure how long I was going to keep this ride I went with the DynaTracs. I selected an all weather design for a more aggressive tread (ST930 / PD8x0?). I plan to do a lot of cow pasture camping.
I have no reference for how well a MH should ride but was surprised (shocked, really), how hard the MH slams on cracks and small breaks in pavement at interstate speed. Maybe it's the tires, maybe it's just the nature of the beast. I had never driven a MH before April and a Class C only once. Still, I was passing 18s on the interstate with a substantial cross wind. Sort of like driving a barge - it's more nudging than driving.
My DynaTracs call for 120psi for full tire load (5,200? lbs front, 4,800? rear dual mode). Maybe that's why the rough ride.
So far no problems, but I've only driven them about 400 miles.
Would I buy DynaTracs again? Maybe, maybe not. I had a bad experience with some relatively new Loadstar trailer tires separating a few years ago. I'd hate to see a truck tire fly apart . . . .
They seem to be good tires, I'm just not comfortable with the lack of information on them . . . . . plus the cloud of the "Chinese tire". I'm having better luck with on-line tire dealers than from the manufacturer for data.
You might compare speed and load ratings with your tire buy. DynaTracs look marginal from what little web information I can find. 62 mph speed rating? REALLY?
Apparently they put them on school busses . . . .
