Hi Tony
I'll be looking at this rebuild with interest.
I have a 1978 Dodge that I am...albeit slowly...getting back into shape as and when I can afford to ship stuff or find something becomes available.
All the best with the project.

I see they are from Prince Albert which is around a 4 hr drive straight north of us. I recall seeing a similar bus when we in Saskatoon, knew it has Saskatchewan plates but that all. Oh and it was big and very white ๐ so maybe it was this one.
Transit here is selling off some buses so I might go and look. I gather you can get one on auction for around 4-5000 which is not bad for a stainless steel skinned bus. My next door neighbour works for the city transit and he mentioned it. All these would still run and drive but might need some work. Axle ratio would have to change as these are geared for city not highway. Could be a nice project or a huge money pit ๐

I ran accross a rebuild that although not as detailed, seems like a challenging undertaking.

Heck, that's just a little bit of the white stuff ๐
We have had snow here for over a month and last storm we had dumped around a foot on us. They said we had more snow in November than any other year on record and more than all of the snow we had last year. I have at least a couple feet of snow on the deck. Most snow here blows around a lot and drifts in some areas more than others. First storm we had we only got 4-6" but I had drifts around 5' high in our back yard. Today it is -13c (+8f) with winds from the SE at 30-40mph. Tomorrow it is supposed to get up around 0c (32f) but winds are supposed to pick up to 40 mph with gusts to around 50. I am so sick of snow..... only good thing is that I have a snow blower which is much easier than shovelling it all....

Except for the "big hills" it just like hauling lime rock here in Florida !
