What's the difference between the 2000 and 2100 Splendide Washer Dryer units? Is the 2000 an older unit? If so when did they stop making them. Thanks
Brian

The 2100 has been around for 10 years and yes it's worth the extra money. C List or even new scratch and dent from Splendide... Call them. I paid $400 for a new take out several years ago.

"There are small differences, but truly, I have not heard of many happy people with the results from their RV washers/dryers. Often its load size and the time it takes to complete....."

OK, now you have heard of one more. We spent nearly three years full timing in a fifth wheel that had a Splendide installed, the vented model.
We thought it was the greatest thing since pockets in trousers! We found that one suit of clothes made a perfect load. Shirt, pants, socks, underwear. Turn it on and forget it. No spending the day sitting in a laundromat waiting for machines to get done, just go about the day, doing whatever we wanted.
It was GREAT!

We bought a 2100xc, used off of CL for ~ $250.00. The date code showed it was manufactured in early 2013, so there are deals to be found. I would say it is worth the extra money for the 2100xc. As soon to be full timers, I would rather do a small load every couple of days then spend hours at a laundrymat once a week.

On LONG RV trips in our bounder, we just stack huge piles of dirty clothes in a hamper. We'll go through a town with a washeteria, chunk the clothes in 5 or 6 washers, I'll watch while my DW goes on a food run. By the time she is back the wash cycles are generally over and into 5 or 6 dryers while we eat.

The whole process is honestly really quick considering the laundry amount. We'll just fold as we go down the road.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Hi Brian. Check the below link, page 9. Yes, the 2000 is older. I am not sure if they quit making them though. If you have one and are wondering when it was manufactured
here is the link. Check page 7 for date codes.

X2 and unlike a 2000 a out of balance from a rug will not hit the timer and ruin it $$$$
