Washed and waxed after seven-day vacation to Jekyll Island, that included the wedding of my younger son. Had to get salt residue and road grime off the old girl. R&R burnt out light bulb under TV(dome light).

Started the long project of remodeling the good 'ol girl.

First on the list is removing the dinette and building a wrap around cabinet/table/chairs for Joey and me.

Just finished laying berber carpet in the living room area and on the slide. Took two days after I had all the furniture and "Stuff" and the old carpet out. If anyone is thinking of doing the same, cross berber off your list. Too many problems if it isn't done by a real pro. Even then, berber is not a good choice in an RV.
Now I just need to finish putting everything back.

we just got home from camping 2 days in a parking lot while our 2 daughters did their music exams . It is sure great to have a place to stay without the trouble of finding motels that you like and being able to make meals and have snacks and just relax while they do their music . the other parents just look with envey :B

Steps quit working properly, would only extend 1/2 way. Took motor off and found very upper large gear had about 6 teeth in a row that were worn down. Will pick up new gear and housing Tuesday and put it all back together.

Just lived another day in the motorhome. Last Thursday we started the big motor for the first time since April 26 brought up the air and checked everything for our departure later this month. Everything worked fine. Friday I changed the air filter. We are ready to leave W. Yellowstone heading to Olympia, WA. Then on to Maine for the winter.

What a life.... huh!

I pulled off a windshield wiper assembly to clean off the rust and paint it a nice semi-gloss black. Not a biggie, but a step.....

I bought her a set of emergency keys today (now to figure out where to hide'm). A new 30amp to 15-20 amp adapter, the old one was cracking. Also picked up a 7 pin to four pin trailer wire adapter for the tow dolly.

And I gave it a hug because I smile everytime I go visit it in storage.

today i replaced bent ss slider bar in my roadmaster towbar. piece of cake if you have metal chop saw or power hacksaw..repaired clear lexan tow shield that the manufacturer had mickey moused together. would have taken 2 bits worth of parts and 2 minutes longer to have assembled it right in the first place...

I just finished putting Allure flooring in our Moho. We never liked the carpet in our 2 years old Southwind. We seem to be drawn to sandy camp grounds and carpet just don't work for us. The install was very easy but the trim was a chore. The kitchen had several different angles that I had to figure out. The rest was a piece of cake. Turned out very nice.
