It took more than one day :). Removed J-Lounge, installed a La-z-boy recliner, made a custom computer cabinet, re-upolstered front captain chairs with same material as recliner, installed new Sony surround sound system and a new Sony LCDTV.

Thanks for checking out my new blog page guys and gals. I don't know how to add the link button yet, like I said, I can be as dumb as the next guy. I want to hear your feedback if you enjoy reading my stories, and if you guys want me to continue. I had to spend today driving to town to get more supplies. That is an all day journey for me just to go to the store. It's a 160 mile drive there and back. At least there is no traffic. Mostly a two lane road with wheat fields, cattle ranches, sage brush, and rattle snakes. Except the snakes are underground trying not to freeze. alohamotorhome.blogspot.com

I've got your blog in my favorites so I'll be checking it often. Take lots of pictures and you should also check out the thread in the Class A Motorhome section "The old girls is back-where to start" by Stevelv.

This has not been a good winter for Florida; looked out the window at motor home, no use going anywhere; here come another storm. darn darn. will hit about noon. then cold (in the 60S) and windy. I guess its better than up north where they are expecting a foot of snow.:B

Going to buy at least one new tire, maybe two. The definite bad one has a gash in the sidewall which happened while parked in the storage facility...not sure yet if it was age related or hoodlum related. Have some aging signs on a second tire that I'll talk to the guys at the shop about when I get there.

I took the RV out for a 70 mile spin. Also put some water in and checked for leaks. Had to winterize last month due to cold snap. Need to clean and treat the roof next week.

Hotsparks, that looks like a pretty nice motorhome. Once you get all the pieces together, you'll have a really nice vehicle.

I replaced the cartridge filter, for my air dryer. It is pretty easy to get to, but I had a heck of a time breaking the old one loose. I use a 2" wide nylon strap wrench. I can't complain about how tight it was, since I was the one that replaced the last one.

We boondock a lot. Much of our camping is in the Southern California desert. The days are short during the winter so I wanted to create some more light outside. Light that didnโ€™t have to be set up each trip, low electric drain, lost of light when I needed it and dimmed to a soft glow when by the campfire.
I did it! Its ~25 feet of waterproof led strip lights with an RF remote control.
It turned out much better than expected. I can now BBQ at the end of the day with plenty of light. Itโ€™s a very unique look at night, and during the day you would not know it was there.

I read some of your replies and took the rainbirds advise and started a blog. This way the stories will not get lost on a jumble of forum entries. Please take a look at the site: Clickable linkhttp://alohamotorhome.blogspot.com I just started the entries so I only have 3 right now and only 1 photo but will try to keep this an ongoing saga if I can find the time to make the entries. Bare with me on bad spelling and terrible grammar, and interesting stories from my journey through life with a motor home.---Thank You, HOTSPARKS I have some of the same entries with a little more detail and spice.
