Replaced the fuel lines, feed & return, from main tank to the generator. Lines run between the main floor and the enclosed upper frame. Access really tough so decided to do a re-route of the lines to make the job more doable and future access to lines better. Both were checked and cracked and I fear a leak and or sucking air instead of fuel not far from happening.

Winterized it, topped off the batteries, replaced the engine battery with the correct size and amperage and installed the proper mount, checked all fluids, replaced V10 engine belt and air filter and installed new oil filler cap.

This weekend it's going to the body shop to have the front re-painted, the drivers and passenger compartments checked to see where the water leaks are coming from and if needed the windshileds re-installed.

Then off to storage for the winter.

Finished the freshwater tank fill line repair that I started yesterday. Replaced four bay door struts. Put generator bay door back on coach for the second time in two days. I think that one is going to have to require some professional work, as it seems to be rolling out of its "hinge", and of course it is a door that one needs fairly regular access to. :M

Winterized and filled the gas tank, getting ready for the long winters nap

Yesterday, I found a leak on the intake on the fill/supply pipe for the fresh water tank, and that the overflow hose had a large chunk out of it.

So, I rebuilt the overflow pipe so that it would properly discharge outside the bay, as it had broken sometime before as well, and the previous owner was simply allowing it to dump all over the bay anyway.

I also started the process of rebuilding the fill/drain/supply line to fix the leak with new pex lines, a quarter turn valve instead of the older multi turn valve. I had to stop as the new parts was causing alignment issues, I need to get a couple of additional parts, and it was getting dark. I also ordered six new bay struts to address the ones that are no longer functioning.

I also had the generator bay door fall off of the coach without warning when I opened it up, so I reattached it. I hope to finish everything up today.
