I'm planning to go camping in November ... it will be very cool.
I don't wish to use my propane to heat as last time it kept clicking on and off so I would be comfortable ...then cold...
Is there any space or type of electric heater that people find works best... ?
I have been debating the one at Costco a fan type style that blasts heat
on the way in...
THanks in advance !

I Went to cook a roast chicken in my oven for the first time... the igniter was not working and applying a lighter to the burner didn't start anything... finally we figured out
that we had to press the igniter at the same time apply flame to the burner and voila
the oven lit up... and dinner was cooking.
I also discovered that the smoke detector is also in good working order ๐Ÿ˜ž

When my father bought the first smoke detector for our house (many decades ago) he commented that now mother knew when the dinner was ready.

Nice to see someone using the oven for something other than another storage cabinet.

Also here is a hint for your oven: Place a ceramic tile in the oven on the tray that covers the burner. Make sure that the tile does not block the holes that allow the heat to rise into the oven. This will help to even the heat and will reduce the risk of burning the bottom of what ever you are cooking. It is particularly effective when baking cookies and cakes.

LOL thanks for the tip. My friend is the cook.. I'm the "suggester" ๐Ÿ˜‰

Got an oil change on the motorhome...found passenger side windshield pulling away from seal and water dripping in on the way home, so Speedy Auto glass fixed it for me $250.00... I also had them apply water repellant spray aquapel to the windshield. What a difference !

Got to the campground and all set up and no hot water even though the water tank was boiling and propane was firing up...

Thankfully a gentlemen said he had experience and would look at the problem.
Ended up being a valve off of the water heater (bi-pass valve) was open and should be closed... instantly I had hot water !!!!

Had a leak @ the driver side window so I resealed it and then replaced the aluminum tape that camping world put down the 40' driver side roof seam with Eternabond because it failed on last winter's trip to Houston! It rained last Friday and now there are no leaks. Lucky me it worked!!!

Fueled it up and weighed it. Still putting things in their place since this is a new coach to us.

Just finished getting ready for our Fall road trip. Put the new registration sticker on the windshield, checked all the tires for proper inflation, cleaned the Alcoa aluminum wheels, cleaned the front windshield, checked oil levels, etc... We are ready to hit the road next week.

Winterized the motor home early this year. The weather and medical problems really cut into camping this year (only went camping once). Hopefully next year will be better.

Fixed the windshield washers--new tubing (what a job it was finding that!) then parked it up top to wait two weeks before I park it sideways in the driveway to start loading it up for MEXICO!

What a beautiful couple days we've had!! Between yesterday and today I have done roof and radiator maintenance and began hand waxing the MH. On the roof, I checked seals and caulk and washed and waxed. With the radiator I sprayed Extreme Simple Green Aircraft and Percision Cleaner on both sides of the radiator. This required getting under the MH with a Long necked sprayer and reaching up inside the fan blade housing for application. After 15 minutes of soaking I began rinsing, again using a long neck attachment on the hose to get the inside from underneath. That Extreme Simple Green is great stuff and won't harm the aluminum. I highly recommend it. The dirt just poured off the radiator. But caution A wet suit would have been handy!! Oh well, nice day for a swim. I'm now half way into hand waxing the MH, WOW it looks awesome but I'm exhausted. Hope to be finished waxing by tomorrow. Done for today. Now where's the Ibuprofen??

LOL! That was funny about the Ibuprofen. I do the samething when I crawl under the coach to grease it and do what ever.
Good job seems like you are getting ready to hit the road.

Pulled the disgusting pink carpeting out of the toilet room, put down allure flooring and a new toilet.

Just bought an older bounder.....

I'll never understand carpeting around a toilet, especially in a motorhome.
