This is always a fun thread to watch in other forums, so I thought I'd start one here.

Our weather was sunny and warm enought for me to lay on the ground under the rear and make a couple repairs on the area behind the rear wheel wells. The owner before blew the inside rear tire on both sides.. Damage was minor and only took some packing styrofoam and a 10 inch by 10 inch patch on each side. Used roof flashing to make the repair. One more thing off the list of things I want to deal with..

Tore apart the interior entrance steps to remove the retractable exterior metal step to see why it pointed downward at a dangerous angle and to see what is under the bumpy OSB sub-flooring in the coach.:(
Then we removed the 1/8" front wall paneling in the cab-over, concealed the exposed clearance lamp jumper wire and installed a sheet of 1/4" luan mahogany before re-installing the front window. Putting the window back was against my better judgment but how come the women always win? At least the cab-over re-build is near completion. 🙂

Here in Southern California, it was sunny and in the 60s yesterday. I took the coach out to the beach and did some kayaking. Unfortunately, the parking enforcement was a little over zealous and wrote me a ticket for parking an oversize vehicle (over 24ft) in a non-legal spot on the curb...even though there were no posted signs 😞 Off to the court house to contest a $49 parking ticket!#@%

We are having normal weather for our area (California middle of the state, east west, just south of Oregon). 30ish nights and 50ish days. Yesterday afternoon was sunny and 50+. This year I parked the MH on the cement pad in the front yard near the garage door.. So working on it is easy.. I removed and cleaned the stop, clearance, parking lights. Replaced any bulbs ect.. Wished we could get away. But nights still to cold here in the high country for water and holding tanks.. And winter will be back so just working on stuff and being out in the sunshine.. Most years April is when we can start Camping again. Come on April....

We drove 50 miles north to Medford, Or. Over the Siskiyou pass. Did some shopping. Filled the fuel tank at Costco. Had an Awning shop field guy from Brookings, Or. meet us at a Good Sam park and install a rebuilt awning with new material for less than half the new price. And made the 50 mile trip home.. After months of setting it ran great.

Come on spring.

I started the old girl up and let her run and believe it or not it was warm enough outside, 56 deg. Today so the thermostat would kick in on the roof AC unit so I ran the AC for about 30 mins,.....And I also have to say YES it sure looked good there EMD360 Nice cleaning job.

I replaced the burner in the furnace and drained the water heater. We keep using it through the winter. 95 Damon Hornet 28ft.

Spring Cleaning! I rented a Rug Doctor and upholstery attachment and cleaned the carpet, couch, and cab seats.($50 with stain treatment, foam treatment, and cleaner!) Ain't she pretty?

I also shopped at West Marine for the first time! Bought 303 Aerospace also the 303 fabric spray. I'm going to treat the cushions and the couch next weekend so that the next time I spill coffee all over it will "bead up". I sprayed the graphics that I could reach and oohed an ahed as they took on a bit of shine again. The dark red is definitely coming off onto my rag and they are starting to peel a bit.
Also bought lithium grease. Has anyone been reading "Evolution of a Forum Post?" Hilarious, and good for a laugh at ourselves.

Ran the engine for a while. Ran the genny for somewhat longer, with a 1500 watt heater as a load. Found no sign of any water in the cab-over after last night’s rain. Good news! Of course, the proof as to whether my recent paid-for fix was effective will come while driving in the rain.

Put on my hip waders and trudged through 60+ inches of snow to do my weekly check. Everything is A OK. Cannot wait to hit the road when all this melts. Have a trip planned in April, but at this rate it may be August before it all melts. Another 6" predicted for Tuesday:E
See you on the road!

Picked up my RV from the repair shop(s). Had my converter, four wall switches, the battery disconnect switch, the toilet seal, and the pocket door track all replaced at the RV repair shop. Had my tranny range sensor replaced and my oil changed at the auto repair shop.

Next is a set of front tires before we go on any extended trips.

Bought a new 8-year chassis battery, 950 cca. The battery we had was supposed to be new from the dealer, but after 6 months, after a month in storage the voltage dropped to 12.18V. Looks low to me so new battery in place.
