Got all the magic (electric heated) carpets in place. They make a huge difference to the floor comfort in cold weather.

Cleaned up and organized. Didn't have anything stored under the dinette benches so moved the sleeping bags and tent under both. Moved the chairs from the outside compartment to under the sofa making more room for tools etc. Moved the stereo to the cabinet closer to the inverter plugs. Still need to get some containers for the sewer hoses and water hoses.

Pondered a bit what to do with these worthless speakers. The first owner pulled the sound system.. they don't sound good nor are in good positions. Either need to find 6.5 inch plates or remove the speakers for the plate and get smaller plate to cover the hole. Not in a hurry will find something eventually.

Moved it to King's Acres to have access to power.

Removed the cover, checked the roof, tires ect. Took it for a drive. Started first try. Ran nice. Ran the generator. Will recover it in a day or so. We having a few nice days so decided to exercise it before winter is back.

Ran the generator to exercise it. Loaded it with one oil filled and two radiant heaters.

Bought it today after searching for three or four months. Had an old B but it was a little tight with the dog and my wife... and my wife kept insisting on coming along.

Today I put in the ceiling in the cabover and painted it with latex primer, then a whiteboard epoxy.

Now my daughter will be able to draw on the cabover ceiling with dry-erase markers and it will come right off. It will also be much brighter when the lights are on.

We took off the cover, drove it to the gas station to fill up and ran the generator for while. We miss it so much in the winter!! Waiting for spring is so hard!

We ran our engine and genny this weekend...thankful that both started right up considering we went longer than intended between start-ups and don't have it on a charger!

Before last weekends trip I topped up the house batteries, was a little embarrassed at how long I had put that little chore off. They took a good long drink and the hydrometer shows all of the cells in the green with equal readings. I like to run the genny for 45 minutes to an hour before leaving with the frig/freezer, converter and water heater putting out a nice heavy load.

I only had to add 25 gallons to top up the fuel tank as the last trip was just 240 miles. Regular was $3.17 but we get 5% back on gas purchase with our Visa so ended up paying about $3 a gallon. The propane tank took about 8 gallons to top up, the 35K BTU furnace keeps us toasty but can really suck down the LP. The coach is loaded with food, fuel and firewood and all I left to do is pack my bag before the football starts. We will be headed to Quartzite (250 miles), first thing in the morning. After Q we'll probably head up to Parker for a couple of days on the river and then back through Apache junction and home. Temps are suppose to be in the mid to upper 70's, we sure love Arizona winters. :B

I needed the kind that mount flat with the magnets on the surface and nobody seems to carry them. When I can find them at an RV supplier, they want something like $6 each. I had to order them from a direct supplier off of ebay in a quantity of 25 to get a decent price. Now I have a boatload of spares.

They have two ears and are screwed in. They also came with 3 different striker plates.

Where did you get the magnets? Are they adhesive or screwed in place?
