What do you do for WIFI on the road

Aside from from WIFI at CG and cellular on your phone what do you use for internet access for say a lap top while on the road.

Currently connecting from Verizon Hotspot on my Samsung S5. I have grandfathered Unlimited Data with CDN and MX (voice) I tried the T-Mobile and had two immediate fails. 1, no service at my home park at all. 2, the Unlimited is for streaming ONLY. Great for watching video not so great for uploading pictures or any other data hungry service. Returned it for a full refund.

I have no trouble staying online while using voice too. That was a problem 4 years ago.
To answer OP - MiFi and or mobile phone with hotspot best carrier is Verizon for fast connection anywhere. AT&T is second and some use both to be sure for business purposes.

I have my IPAD set to be a "Hot Spot". Over about 5 years now it has been great. I link my laptop to the hot spot and have great response. Most of the big carriers can set you up. I have had great service from AT&T

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobil cut my bill by 1/3 AND added unlimited data and unlimited hotspot. T-Mobil does not have the coverage of Verizon but it has been fully satisfactory for this full timer for the last year.

Verizon is aggressively trying to stop the (pick a word you like for illegal) unauthorized reselling of business accounts to the common folk. If you get a plan and keep a plan then that's great as you really have very little to lose even if you paid the $30 for 6 months plus a setup fee. I have lost more than that in an hour at a casino so what's the real risk? Only you can make that decision.

I bought from this seller off of Ebay. He is no longer an Ebay seller but does have a website. The price I paid included 6 months of service and you can pay a month at a time or pay for 6 months at a time through him.
I unfortunately let my service expire and had to have him reconfigure my device. But I got another 6 months in the deal. Here is the link.

This link is for him configuring your device that you send him. I believe he also can sell you a device if you don't already have one. Good luck, John

I see that unlimitedvilled has discontinued the $45/month plan, there is a $100/month plan.
I guess I am lucky to have a 2 year contract with Sprint.

This is going to sound like a plug, but if you have (or buy a used) Sprint portable "hot spot" you can use it on Ting (a virtual mobil network riding on top of Sprint's network) for $6/month and $10/GB (less than 2GB costs more), plus taxes.

smart TV lol.Now I got it. I thought you meant you ran your Tv off the mifi as in regular TV programming
Seems odd that you get HI speed unlimited internet and two cell phone lines with unlimited calling for 45$
Yet everyone else is paying like $200 for that kind of deal and its not unlimited

I don't think I can make my explanation any clearer than the post I made. Sprint offered a business plan, yes, I have/had a legitimate business, for unlimited service at $45/month. That's what I have and that's about it.
