Which model toilet in '04 Winnie?

We're in AK, our new to us 2004 Journey coach is in Portland, but I want to replace seals, ball valve and spring when we're down there for Thanksgiving. It's a Sealand, porcelain, foot pedal on the left (as you are facing toiletโ€ฆ) and has the hand sprayer. I'm thinking model 510 but want to be sure before I order parts. Coach is 10 years old and I doubt seals have ever been replaced. Foot pedal flops around and has to be returned to neutral position manually, and the ball valve looks like , well,โ€ฆ crap!

May be better just just replace the entire toilet.... Look all over it for any clues (I know fun right?). Thetford makes toilets for MANY MANY coaches.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

We will look tomorrow and post but sometimes they put in different models and you may want to call Winnebago tec support with your vin number.

Parts should be the same for 500 or 510. I can't physically check model number as coach is 2500 miles away in Portland and we're in Alaska, but I think I'll risk it and order the parts so they're on hand when we get down there on the 25th.
I think you will be O.K. by doing that! I checked the measurements of the 500 series toilets in the diagram on page 13 and all the 500 series toilets were all the same measurements. Good Luck, Rooster

I have a 04 Winnebago with a Sealand 500 Series China Toilet! Too find out which toilet you have to order parts, you have to locate the model ID #. This is done by (when your standing facing the toilet) there will be a phillips screw you will have to remove bottom of toilet left bottom side. This screw holds the toilet pedestal cover together. After you remove the cover the toilet ID label will be on the back base of the toilet. The label will have 3 lines Dometic Corp. and address on the top line. The middle line will be your model number. The last line will be the serial number. You will either have a 510+ or a 511+ toilet! If there is no ID Baseplate then you will have to measure the toilet. I hope this helps you in your parts search! Rooster

We don't have a Winnie. We have a Dometic/Sealand in our mh. I found the serial# and model# on the back & bottom of the toilet.( I had to use a mirror) I couldn't read the model#, so I emailed Sealand with the serial#. They replied quickly with the model # and some other helpful info.

I've got Winnebago's part number for the toilet, and the Sealand owners manual that covers several models, but nothing that tells me which particular model is in that coach. I'm hoping someone can just say, hey, I've got a Winnie of that vintage and it's a model 510 toilet. That way I can order the parts and have them waiting for me when I get down there for a few days later this month. Yeah, I know, what a great way to spend Thanksgiving...
