Window fogging repair needed in DFW, TX area

Sometimes it is just difficult to get your point across in the subject line. After a few tries I think I came close.

I have a driver side window with the little lower toll slider window. Both the large window and the toll window have lost their seal and fogged.

Do any of you have a recommendation as to where these could be repaired in the Dallas/Ft Worth area?

Also if you are one of the many who have had this type repair done, were you pleased with the results? Would you mind sharing what the cost of the repair was?

Actually Blue Moon got back to me with in 30 minutes of the original call.

However, there contact does not do defogging. I was informed as to where I could find all the information to contact the original supplier of the windows on the coach. It was recommended that I contact the manufacture and see if a new window could be ordered and sent either to my residence or their location and they would take care of the installation at either location.

The window manufacture is Se-GI. I am getting ready to fax them the needed information.

As for Blue Moons cost, they may seem on the upper end on some sevices, but I have found they are well with in what others charge. And they do, do good work and cut no corners to do so.

Blue Moon can take a long time for return calls. They do good work but are VERY pricy.

When we had the problem, we drove to Tampa and used Sun Coast Designers. Very good work, very professional, very quick. They have a small RV park next to the shop where you can stay for free. If I remember it was $200 per window. If they can repair the window they will. If the glass is etched, then they will make a new window.

UPDATE:

I called a local glass business, Binswanger Glass Arlington who said the did not do the fog fix, but could order me a new window and install it for around $450 for the window and the smaller in frame toll window.

I then called a RV facility that I have used in the past in Carrollton, TX. Blue Moon RV told me that they have a gentle man who comes to their place of business and does defogging of dual pane RV windows. I asked her if she knew if this person would make a house call. I am awaiting a return call from either her or the gentleman who performs this service. I will update this post when I have additional information to pass along.

Maybe try the folks at North Texas RV. I had some bodywork done there a few years ago and they are top notch. I won't say cheap. But I suspect they can do a fine job of replacing your window.

I have them pulled up already to give them a call later today. I can't believe that will all the RVs in the DFW area no one offers this service locally.

Maybe this would be a business venture someone needs to look into.

Call RVFog Dr. in Searcy, Ark(just north of L.Rock) Plan a drive up there and they can fix in short order and do a fine job. I had some done on a previous coach and was very pleased with service and price.
You can camp on site too.
