Winnebago problems

I have tried the factory who had the coach for four months. We are told by Winnebago do not take it back to original dealer, they do not know how to repair it. Why should my extended warranty have to pay for factory defects.

Too much information missing from both this and the OP's first and now closed posting from yesterday. 60 major problems as posted without much detail. I can't help but wonder if the coach was in a flood which would not be Winnebago's responsibility but more of an insurance claim.

Joined yesterday and has a rant already about 60 major items on a 2012
motor home.

What makes you think it is a factory defect? Did the selling dealer try to fix it and make a previous error? What is it? If you just want to rant, then go for it. If you want opinions more data is needed. I had my Winnebago Adventurer for 11 year, had a few minor issues over the years, called Winnebago and always received a prompt knowledgeable reply.

Are you saying the Winnebago at Forest City had your Journey for 4 months and could not fix your problems? Seems strange that the factory could not fix it.

How old was the Journey when you started experiencing the slideout problems?

I think that the Winnebago warranty is only for a year from purchase date. Some components may have longer individual warranties.

Well,
This is kind of a blind statement. You're not saying what year, model, engine etc. You're not stating just what kind of problems you're having. Now, to me, it seems that it's kind of odd that, the factory had your coach for FOUR months and, IT'S STILL NOT FIXED? Something doesn't seem quite right. I mean, if the factory can't fix it (or how ever many issues you have), then how would you or, anyone expect any other repair center/RV service Centers etc. to be able to fix your issues? Maybe I'm not seeing the "Big Picture" here.

It depends on if the problem started before the end of your factory warranty.
