As the weather warms, more of these events are hitting the calendars. Dutch Oven Gatherings are popular with RVers and if you're new to this forum, here's a good description of what a DOG or Dutch Oven Gathering involves.
DescriptionAnother good description.The NC/VA State DOG is tomorrow at Jordan Lake SP near Apex, NC. The Old Dominion Iron Chefs from Richmond VA and The Southeast Camper Dutch Oven Group from Charlotte, NC will meet for a full day of dutch oven cookery. The Dutch Oven Gathering will be held in the Seaforth area at Shelter #9 starting about 9 AM for some snacks and a full cast iron buffet at 3 PM.
The 5th Annual Southeast Camper Spring Dutch Oven Gathering is April 30th at Kings Mountain SP near Blacksburg, SC
The National Dutch Oven Gathering is in Loudonville, OH this year June 24-26.
The Mile High DOG is in Maggie Valley, NC every year. The date this year is July 30.
