Anyone ever run their crockpot (sitting in sink) while going down the road with the generator running (motorhome)? We are not getting to our spring break destination until Easter Sunday and it would be nice to have a ham cooking in it while we drive.
I have done this in a toy hauler. Worked great.
Given the cost of fuel and the low current dram of crockpots it might be worth researching the use of an inverter. Without any facts in front of me my educated guess would be that the inverter would be the way to go if you can warrant buying one.
