We like the Savannah SF Festival coming up May 1-3. Really good food!

Patch.com is a wonderful place to find local seafood festivals and dinners. Good eats and great prices and you get to meet the locals.
You can also find listings in the free newspapers at the laundromat assuming you don't have a washing machine in your RV;).

Prince Edward Island lobster, scallops, oysters and world famous PEI mussels, hard to go wrong.

It's a great time, food, music and the friendliest people on earth!

We're heading back that direction again and we'll have to visit this one.

You're right, those are always great and it's an opportunity to meet the locals which we enjoy doing. During Lent, we look up the Friday Fish Fries at the local churches. We have an absolutely great time and the food is usually outstanding. Came across an unusual way to prepare hush puppies at one: they incorporated sweet pickle relish along with the onion. Surprising.

For at least a few weeks during the summer, you can find me and mine on the CT side of Long Island Shore. There's a string of nearby towns we frequent that have regular seafood and fish events that are mostly geared towards the locals. Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club,Chamber of Commerce; the usual suspects. We blindly pick one and attend always having a good time. Then we scan local newspapers for larger venues that include entire towns. Many seem to happen the middle of August up until the beginning of September. Never had a dud in the mix.

We go to this one every year when we're not kayaking. It's our favorite.
