Antennas galore.

Finally got most of the antennas mounted, although still waiting on one to arrive.
Ordered a Winegard G2+ and took some work, but it's now semi permanently mounted. didn't really want to screw the dish right into the roof, so I was looking for an alternative. The ladder mount looked like the best idea, however it turns out my ladder isn't straight up and down, so I couldn't get the dish level. I ended up making a mount attached to the luggage rack.

created out of a 2x2 aluminum stock, 2 rail clamps and the base plate of the ladder mount.

Inside I had to create a place to hold the tv since there didn't seem to be a place for one in the main living area. To be fair, they didn't have too many flat screen tv's when this coach was built.
best place to install it was in the corner near the dining table.

Built with a couple of 2x4s and some thin plywood, it seems sturdy enough. I'll get some type of finish on it once I see how well it holds up while on the road.

Attached to all the antennas and tv is the electronics shelf

The base of the system is the hr24-500 dvr for the Directv system.
RF remote allows the door to be closed and still use the receiver.

Black box with the big W on it, is the power inserter for the satellite dish, power switch on the side turns the unit on.

Off to the right is the cell phone booster.

Upper left units are the WiFi booster system with an outside antenna to transfer signal to the inside of the coach. Several years ago we were at an rv park with half way decent wifi signal, then some guy with one of those big bus type motor homes parks next to us, blocking all signals. The outside wifi antenna will be mounted on the extendable tv antenna to get the whole thing a good 15' above the ground.

All powered by a surge suppressing power strip with a single shut off.

This can be powered by either the 120v shore/generator or 12v with an inverter.

All that is left is routing 4 coax cables from the inside to the exterior. Working on a design for that.

2x coax for satellite, 1 for wifi, 1 for cell.

Already mounted is the fm, Sirius, and CB. We'll see if it all works together on our next road trip. Each system works separately siting in the driveway.

Good job. I just bought a satellite and haven't mounted it yet. Thanks for the ideas.
