Long time lurker first time poster here

I found out about this a few months ago as I had AT&T phones on the unlimited plan at the time and added it. It works great, the thing is now they offer a stand alone plan for $20 also so anyone can get it. You can get all the details on this cellular forum. Just thought I would pass along.

http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php/1894167-Stand-alone-AT-amp-amp-T-Unlimited-ZTE-Mobley-Hotspot-now-only-20!!!!!

(update.... most details are now in this thread so just keep reading ๐Ÿ™‚

Device is called a ZTE Mobley and its designed for cars, but can be used anywhere with an adapter, also AT&T seems to never slow your data no matter how much you use.

Adapters can be purchased:
Amazon, some are even prime

Ebay sells them also though some of the newer sellers look sketchy

These are the 2 original sellers and a known to be good.

I would suggest that anyone taking their Mobley outside of the USA, be very careful! Is roaming included for a per mb fee or is roaming worldwide FREE? I would find the latter hard to believe.

Is the Mobley a device in an AT&T account with other devices, or in an account by itself?

I have received those notices before and even the one that says I have exceeded 100%. I have not noticed any throttling as yet. Most of the time they will not throttle the speed unless the traffic is your area requires some prioritization due to high use(per AT&T tech I know).

My Mobley is at 44GB with 5 days left in the cycle, and no notices or alerts so far in the Mobley admin messages.

I wonder if the Mobley roams. I had the same at the grand canyon with Crickey and my Freedompop AT&T device not connecting, not my TMO or Sprint but all are MNVO's. My Verizon 3g hotspot worked but Verizon owns a tower there. The rest are rebroadcast on someone else tower.

Does the Mobley not connect to older wireless technology? I am at Yellowstone and their (AT&T) coverage shows 4G at Fishing Bridge but no LTE. However I cannot get a connect anywhere except at West Yellowstone MT where I am catching up. I heard people using AT&T phones commenting on their service. I could not get anything on Mobley. Not at Old Faithful or any of the major villages showing cell service. No TMobile, no Sprint, and very poor Verizon so poor it is useless except for calling and text. Please Advise.

Thanks, this is the first "Mobley" alert I've heard of. I wonder if AT&T is just now starting to enforce their network management.

Verizon did not enforce theirs for several months after people signed up for their Unlimited plans.

Has anyone else received such a message on their Mobley accounts?

There is, indeed, a 22GB "limit" on this unlimited plan. You are subject to Network prioritization after that which means that your speeds may or may not be slowed down depending upon the number of users on that Network that are not subject to this restriction.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Right. When I was (trying) to add a second Mobley to my Mobley account they sent me a code via text as a two factor authentication step.

Open web browser and go to attwifimanager, log in and select Messages.

Is this on a Mobley only account? If so, how was the message delivered?

Thanks everyone, I am not giving up yet, keep you posted. As Joesmoe replied I am looking into providing alternative information to obtain a credit check.
