Electrical adapter question

I have just purchased a 2017 Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. I am trying to find an electrical adapter that will allow me to plug in a standard 110 volt extension cord to the RV without having to use the supplied, bulky, 50 amp power cord. This would make life easier when the RV is parked at my home and allow me to pre-cool the refrigerator before loading food. The connection on the side of the RV is a 3 prong, 50 amp twist lock:

Is there a short adapter available to allow my house power and standard 110 volt extension cord to plug into this RV connection?

Thank you for any help.

As an earlier poster said, make sure your extension cord is not overloaded. a regular house ext. cord will likely overheat. I'd suggest at least a 12/3 outdoor ext. cord.

I have a 50 amp rig and run a 30 amp adapter and cable to the 20 amp socket, allowing the heavier (30 amp) wire to haul the load.

Noted, my friend. I use a commercial grade contractor's cord for this...but I will keep an eye on it's temperature.

Thank you Ella. Time2Roll found just the adapter I needed. I can see myself, a first time 5th wheel owner, making lots of use of these forums ๐Ÿ˜‰

Picture is of a 50 amp 120/240 connection. Note the ground is on the outside ring and not one of the pins.

Looks like a 30 amp from picture. Yes, there is...50 to 20 but might be cheaper to go from 50 to 30 to 20. Be careful you don't overload your extension cord. Easy to do.

Thanks for the reply, Lee. I'm confused as the label says 50 amp?? All the 50 amp adapters I've found are RV standard 4 prong...not the twist lock 3 prong. I have looked at a 50 to 30, which I will need anyway to hook up to my Champion generator, and I have a 30 to 20 adapter...just hate to break out that heavy 50 amp power cord just to run off house power. But, if that's what works, so be it :-).

Thanks Lee!
