In Firefox Get back, as in Restore, Folder

I was trying to get my Firefox to accept one site in two folders. I had somehow gotten two copies of the site I wanted, so I deleted.

But what it did was delete and entire folder. It's the most important folder of all my bookmarks.

Can someone tell me how to get it back?

{{I used search Firefox Help and the term "restore bookmarks", but all it would suggest is not something lost, but copying all bookmarks into another browser. To me that process is copying, not restoring.}}

I do not believe it, as old as I am, I learned something.:S I just imported all my IE Favorites to FireFox. I've been trying to figure it out on my own for months.
Thank you, thank you.

Right-mouse click on the Recycle Bin. Find the folder/files you deleted by accident. Highlight them, and right-mouse click Restore.

Firefox automatically makes backups of your bookmarks. I'm on Firefox 28.0, so I'll use that as my example. Choose the Bookmarks menu, Show All Bookmarks, Import and Backup, click on the restore tab. You should see options for previous dates, and the number of bookmarks. Pick the one you want, and you're back in business. My firefox shows 10 previous backups, going back to 2/27.

Thank you. Very good idea.

Now, why oh why didn't my search for help take me to that perfectly logical place.

Unfortunate occurrences like yours reminds me to do a backup of my bookmarks now.
Sorry it happened, but thanks for the reminder.
