Well for me a stereo is a stereo in an rv; hit a button, get music, it's not rocket science.

My opinion.. Ho Humm

I have a winegard Box of Many Buttons, sitting atop a Pioneer Home Theater and DVD player. This is an older system and not Blue Ray compatible, but the Main, bedroom and relocatable TV's are all HDMI, VGA, A/V and occasionally "OTHER" compatible, (Other varies with set) multiple A/V in on the main. .. For the dash I have only a radio/cd player. Also Pioneer, with Aux in for playing Cell phone audio or Mini-Disc or "other" (Even cassette tape can play on it via teh Aux in theough I'm nto sure how.. Oh yes I am sure how I would power the USB powered tape player.

In short,, I can do all it does and more.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
Kenwood TS-2000, ICOM ID-5100, ID-51A+2, ID-880 REF030C most times

Specs are pretty anemic on this unit. No HDMI capability, No digital or optical surround sound inputs. No Blu-ray.
But it looks good, kind of like lipstick on a pig....

I think RV electronics should be like car electronics. Just give me the screen, speakers and microphone. Let me buy up do date electronics for the brain of it.

I use the iPhone for navigation, phone and text. I use sync just for the bluetooth part. Every voice command is with Siri. iPhone does the thinking, truck does speaker and microphone.

In the camper I have installed a TV but that's just because I could not find any simple antenna to ipad adapter. I have also installed speakers but those I would have preferred to have factory installed. Apparently my dealer decided that people would want to save a few hundred on a 20k$ camper and ordered them bare.
