Does CW have a price match policy and if so what is it? I tried searching the forum but was unable to locate anything.

Thanks

Brian,
It would matter as much as a shill matters in a carnival game. Thanks for your response.

Not grumpy , just stating facts .

Your commercial website ad for GS indicates that there is an annual membership fee of $25.
Part of that fee will give members a discount at CW and also a fuel discount .

The discounts are figured from an elevated MSRP system that is not in use by most vendors and the
fuel discount is available from many vendors for free .

The RV industry is filled with people and organizations that sing each others praises to promote memberships and income . Thankfully , many of these situations are disappearing as their members and subscribers become educated .

.

It also gives 10% off camping at good Sam parks and some other benefits. The fuel discount at flying j is changing if you haven't read. And elite members get higher discounts than what their regular fuel reward programs gives.

We have bought things at camping world for cheaper than we could get at other places.. Due to sales, discounts and coupons offered to good Sam members. Is everything cheaper? No. Just the same as other places aren't on many of their products. Camping world is a store front first of all with online sales secondly to reach those that can't make it to a store front. Many people like to see things in person and compare them. They also like to be able to ask questions while there. Something you can't do at places like amazon. Want free shipping through amazon? Pay $79/year for a prime membership (we have one too), but you are not guaranteed to find the product you are looking for available through prime. And if you do, you may find it via a store on there that has a higher price. Has happened to us. You have to shop around if lowest price with shipping means anything to you. It could send you back to CW.

WB just to clear things up ...are you affiliated in anyway with CW or the GS conglomerate. Do you have family that are in some way employed. With all your over the top cheerleading I think you should disclose if directly or indirectly you or someone in your family are financially dependent on them. Don't they also advertise on your web site?

No, but why would that matter? The fact that I believe in them? As far as advertising on my website, not until the other day. I have them on there as affiliate, just like you can do. I also have wise food storage products and rvt on there right now. Soon you may see bass pro, altrec and many others. The same as many others that have websites.

And thanks for pointing that out, now more traffic can be driven to my site. ๐Ÿ™‚

Camping World uses an inflated MSRP system - they charge an annual membership fee for the
privilege of paying over retail . Price comparisons with Amazon , Manufacturers Web Sites , and Vendors that specialize in a particular line of products , indicate that there are many reputable companies that sell the same product for less without the phoney flyers and the bait & switch
tactics .

.

Man someone's grumpy. CW does not charge a membership fee, the presidents club is gone and good Sam members receive special pricing. Yes it's all the same, but you get more benefits with the GS club Han a CW discount. And you can not price match between online stores and especially from one big box store to another online company.

And for what it's worth, I've purchased things from CW for cheaper an I could at other reputable places online. I can go to the store and not have to pay shipping. Most other places charge shipping. Amazon has free shipping with your $79 prime membership. But, not everything on amazon is available for prime shipping.

Sometimes they will have a price on their online store that will be lower than what you will see in their store. They will price match that.

But there are no other rv box stores for them to price match against. Normally a price match has you bringing in a sales paper with the price from the other store. They definitely won't price match against online places.

Odd it has been said that the stores will not match CW web prices. Also there are plenty of RV stores and dealers they could price match against. I don't know if they do or not but they could if they wanted to.

What if something goes on sale within a reasonable amount of time? Has anyone had the price matched?

Thanks

We were just there and no, they would not do a price match. But, the new flyer from this week says they will price match any INSTALLED item.
