Receiving Multiple Signals from Satellite

My new trailer has a convenience center for easy satellite hookup. I will be using a dish 1000.2 or 1000.4(eastern arc/western arc)and vip 211k and/or another model(s). I bought the two different lmbs in case there are obstacles in the way of one, then I can hopefully use the other. Both the 1000.2 and 1000.4, they can feed three different receivers without using any adapters.

Now, if anyone is familiar with the convenience center or multi satellite inputs on trailers, this is where I need the help. Okay, so I can run 1 cable from the satellite to the "main" connection in the convenience center. By doing this, there is an option by each TV in the coach to use this signal. So, if I connect it this way and use a receiver on every TV: can each TV choose its own programming to watch? Or do I need to run 3 cables from the satellite to the main, sat 1 and sat 2 connections in the convenience center, and again using a receiver on each TV?

Also, is there a way to run 4 TVs off of the above satellite? I do have 4 connections in the convenience center.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. A couple of my receivers are capable to run two TVs, so I will go that route and only need two receivers instead of three. Thanks Bill for the post, I will try to run one cable from satellite to trailer first, if not then I will feed the trailer with three rg6 cables from the satellite.

It's pretty simple. As mentioned above, forget about your current wiring (you might be able to use one cable but follow what must be done).
You MUST run one dedicated cable to each receiver (not TV, satellite receiver). If you are using a DPP 1000 dish that one cable can run to either a single tuner receiver or a DVR/dual tuner (with the addition of a Dish Separator. You can also buys something like a dual tuner receiver where one box allows 2 users to watch 2 different channels. HD only to the TV where the receiver is connected and SD everywhere else. If you want HD at each TV you will need a receiver at each TV.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

I added a separate wall connector for the satellite. do not go through any coax in trailer. New RG-6 is straight through to connect to my 711 VIP receiver. I run a coax from splitter from on board antenna/amplifier system to off air antenna connection on DVR. Can record HD off air through 711. Works great.
I get local HD through Dish and can record three shows at one time. What more do you need. I have to admit I am an HD snob and can't help it.

Not completely sure I'm following you but I think you want to run one cable from the dish to the receiver sat input. Then one from the receiver to the distribution center.

If you want to run 3 different receivers then each will need its own direct connection to the dish. The switch built into the dish will take care of getting the right signal to the right receiver.

First, forget all existing switches and cables.

Run RG-6 from the Antennas to the Sat Receivers (The VIP-211K) do not go through any existing switch or splitter.

NOTE: you may have ONE usable cable from the roof to the sat-receiver compartment, but for the other receiver(s) you will have to run your own cable.

The switch in the convenience center can accept a signal from the RF-OUT (To Television) coax fitting on the back of the VIP-211K, for distribution.

But that switch is not good for Sat side of the VIp-211K.

Recommendation: in the LNB lead on the 211K< put an A/B switch

A goes to the roof antenna up ABOVE

B (Via new RG-6) to either a Bulkhead (Through wall) or basemounted ground block.

Mine is on the brake bell crank bracket.

When parked under the "Evil signal eating tree" set up a tripod antenna "Away" from the RV and hgook to the ground block/bulkhead connector, then SLIDE the switch to B, and do a check switch (After pointing the antenna) If you can not get to the antenna pointing screen, when the error message finally appears, Press * on the remote.

Be sure to return to "A" before unhooking.
