Since I was kicked to the Curb by Photobucket I am looking for a new free hosting site. What are you using?

ImageEvent is even less.. about $26/year. I'm sure anyone on here can afford that, if you choose to.

Dropbox is also what I use for sharing photos

I would do that if I was posting commercially but I only post a few pics now and then on how to mods to my RV, Harley or Truck.

It's a Pisse- to think all the how to mods I posted in the last several years now have to pictures thanks to Pb..

So?
I have never run into that situation so I have no problem with it.
So, just like Photobucket until a short while ago?

Really, nothing is free - if they can't pay for the service somehow (ads and selling personal info on users, most commonly), one can't expect a "free" ride forever.

To the OP - just pay for a hosting service. For ~$100/year, you can host your photos, have your own website, have your own email , and more. And it's all transportable, so you can move it elsewhere if needed.

I've used Bluehost for years and they've been reasonable and reliable so I've no impetus to move elsewhere, although there may be better out there now. Any "free" hosting of photos, email, web servers, etc., obviously isn't free - it costs them to provide a service. That only means that they're making a profit on you - typically by selling info about you. And, they want to lock you in so you can't move.

If you want it to be easy - stick to boards which host pictures, and makes it simple and intuitive to do so. This isn't one.

Imgur works great and they dont bother you with spam.

Photobucket was great for about 10 years too.
Then they arbitrarily changed the rules.
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
At this point I have no reason to trust any of them.
It seems they have no 3rd party hosting in their rules.
Why should I think they won't decide to flip the switch one day? Sorry no thanks.

I assume then you are self hosting? Because that is the only way I can think of that would guarantee what happened with PB won't happen to any of the other sites.

Free, fairly easy to use and you can set up a website, Blog etc and use them...

I used to have websites, but kept getting hacked..
Now I let Google worry about that...

so Google Photos..

Thanks for the info. I tried Ingur seems to work fine. I only post a couple dozen pics a year to forums like this one for one kind of mod or another. Hopefully it will work out.
