Hubby and I are beginning our journey into the RV world. I've been reading tons of information on the forums while hubby has been primarily listening to podcasts to learn all we can about RVing. What we would really like to find is 1 or 2 good books that will give us some good information on being RV owners. Does anyone have recommendations?

Thanks.

Anything in a book can be had online for free. You need to maintain it including washing/waxing the exterior and roof, cleaning the interior - like housework, and maintaining its systems. You have to enjoy the outdoors as well. Lots of people will urge you to buy used at first. I'm not one of those, as there are pros and cons to buying used. What you buy is a personal decision.

If you need to diagnose a problem or have a question, this forum is an excellent place to do so.

I agree there is such a thing as too much information and we have already started doing all the things you have suggested. The best way to learn is thru experience and we expect to run into problems and will most certainly discover something unexpected. However, having 1 or 2 books available that might help us diagnose a problem with our RV or talk about something we may not have thought about can't hurt.
