Do Any of you NOT Level Off Ever or Rarely?

I am new to RV'ing. I've seen lots of talk of leveling and what not. So far I have taken my RV out twice and was on a mild slope and really didn't feel uncomfortable without leveling out?

Are there some of you who just never level off at all or maybe just try to park in such a manner so that you don't have to?

Ok stupid newbie question, but if you aren't using it, and it's just parked in the storage spot, does it need to be level? I can't stand it not being level when I'm staying in it, but if everything is off and closed it - does not still need to be level?

I have chronic vertigo. Believe me, when we're out of level I know it instantly. I am meticulous about getting our rig absolutely level front to back and side to side.

As long as the pilot light is going up the flue, then the fridge is sufficiently level. It can be many degrees off and still operate.

This whole business about it having to be a quarter bubble or less to prevent fridge damage is nonsense.

cost me $57.50 to get the fridge reset after I left the 5th wheel sitting high for the winter. Dealer said an extended period of time will make the circuit board for the fridge to shut it down.

I guess I'll be the oddball. I almost never level. When I first started RVing, I was fanatical about being perfectly level. As time has gone on, we just pull in to our site, hook up and relax. I really don't care about being half a bubble off, nor do I even notice it any more.

It's an old wives tale that the fridge will be damaged if off level. It just will not optimally cool if on LP, but it will not do any damage to the cooling unit unless the whole coach is over on its side.

I push a button and I am magically level!
YMMV!

On our second dump during a week at the beach, I learned that a completely level MH will give more accurate black & grey water tank levels. I never knew how much I didn't know until we got something with over 80,000 parts and pieces!:h

DW requires the stove to be level, so thats what I do.

As close as I can both front to back and side to side. I have a level mounted on my Camp Chef 3 burner stove. I like to be level. But if you ask DW she will tell you I am off kilter for sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

Out of level puts stress on the slides. A little out is OK but a bunch is not good. Same as fridge, you'll be asking here for help on slide that does not seal, slide, or track ok.
