I have a model 8535 heater that does not work. When trying to start it, the fan motor works however it does not attempt to light. I hear no clicking sounds at all. I replaced the circuit board with a new one however still no luck. I have no idea if it's getting any propane as I do not hear or see any indication of it. The blower works but that is all. I have a photo of it but I don't know how to attach it.

If you will follow these directions exactly, it is very easy to post pictures on our forums. One of our moderators, 1492, developed this photo posting app to post your pictures. It works for other internet sites also. There is no need to have a separate hosting site for your pictures in order to use it.

It is very simple to use.
1. Upload your picture from your computer to the app.
2. Copy the resulting URL.
3. Paste that URL into your post

without ANY changes

. No additions or deletions.

Your picture will then appear in your post and be properly sized for use on our forums.:)

If you wish to try it out I started a Picture Posting Test Thread in the DIY forum for members to test the app. 🙂

Could be dirty sail switch, open high temp cutout.
Sail switch can be blown out with compressed air. It is awkward to get to as it is in the back of the furnace. Using a compressor or can air works.
