2000 Isuzu Trooper 2WD Dolly Towing

I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer to this: Can you use a tow dolly to tow a 2000 Isuzu Trooper 2WD....? I also assume that you cannot tow it four down, right? If I have missed the answer somewhere else, please excuse me. I will be towing it with a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer 35U.

Thanks in advance for the answer.

More than likely, you can tow it on a dolly OR four down IF you disconnect the driveshaft at the differential yoke, wrap the bearing caps with electrical tape so they won't get lost, and tie the shaft up to the bottom of the floor pan
with good stout wire.
Many years ago I did that to tow a 2 wheel drive Datsun pickup. Back then it took me abut five minutes to prepare for towing and about 5 minutes to prepare for driving.
It worked.

Welcome to the forum.
Did you check the owners manual for the Trooper? That's usually the best info for dinghy towing.

Also, what transmission is in the Trooper? I always thought they were rear wheel drive.

If it's an automatic transmission, I'm guessing it can't be towed on a dolly. But, I really don't know.

Did you try contacting Remco Towing? Maybe they can help.
