I wasn't going to read this thread as hacks to me meant ruin something by screwing it up but.......... the pound sign has become a hashtag what ever that is......

I agree.

I'm so behind times, I didn't even know what a hack was. I clicked just to find out. It is a rather weird word to use.

Plastic cardboard: it has all the outward appearance of cardboard but made of plastic. It's durable, flexible and can be cut to shapes and sizes. And it's waterproof.
One brand name is Corolite.
They sell it in sheets at places like Home Depot and such.
I have used it for making a large variety of different things.

Here's an invention of mine. I was driving my 'C' to Alaska one summer. It has a couple of opaque skylights in the roof. One is directly over the rear queen bed. Normally, not a problem, but in the "land of the midnight sun" its a problem. I tried a sleep mask but it annoyed me. So I stopped at a Sears store in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. They sold sheets of black plastic cardboard. Cut to fit and attached to the edges of the skylights with Velcro, it turned daylight into dark.
I still have them, and have used them a couple of times in the lower 48 when in a CG that that has vapor lights on poles.
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

Great ideas in there!
I can use a bunch of those in my TT.
Thanks for posting.
