This is my 65th season on the east coast. Not to say it hasn't been nip and tuck on a few occasions while hunkered down. With the RV, I've got "dodge-ball" down to a science and I'm still in the game.:B BTW... who would've thunk that Hurricane Ike ('08) would bring 75 mph wind to Ohio? And there I sat in my camper...:E Travel safe.

75mph winds just make life interesting. I've slept through gusts about that speed, making sure to retract the stabilizer jacks and have my TT's rear in the wind (couldn't face it in frontwards, so the back is the next best thing.) I was lucky -- the back of my TT has a very huge window and it was intact afterwards.

Very good reason to be a fulltimer, leave the east coast during hurricane season.

Hmmmm, I am a full timer and I decided to stay in Florida this summer. For me there is no such thing as 'leave the east coast' to be safe! :B:B

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
