On this weekend's camping trip, my less-than-one-year-old Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS) alarm went off when I moved the truck on Sunday morning - the right rear tire of the TV was at 36 PSI. Normal is 80 PSI for that tire.
It turned out to be a slow leak from a screw in the tire.
The pressure was fine Saturday afternoon (no alarm at least) when I used the truck to take the kayaks to and from the launch site at the campground. I must have picked up the screw then.
I was able to put the spare tire on the truck Sunday evening and then get the tire patched at a tire store on Monday (Memorial Day) before towing the TT home.
Without the TPMS, I would have probably discovered the low tire on Monday (today) as I hooked up the TT making for a more exciting day.
