Battery for electric tongue jack

this might be a silly question to some but if I add an electric tongue jack to my tt is the one battery I have good enough or should I add a second battery.
I will be hard wiring it in, not the one with the 7 pin plug.

The photo above is.. by the definition of battery,, ONE BATTERY. And yes that is enough.

The little AGM I use to run a fan when I build a campfire is also ONE BATTERY, and its not enough.

But I'd say anything larger than a group 24 Marine/Deep cycle should be enough.

By the time you get to Group 31 you can drop the Marine and go with just Deep cycle..

NOTE: I tend to go at least one size bigger than needed.

You are good to go with what you have. Make sure you install the correct fuse.

make sure you put a inline fuse. my daughter has one on her utility trailer uses it weekly only charges the battery twice thru the summer.

One battery in good condition is enough to handle a Tongue Jack. If you are using shore power also you have nothing to be concerned about.
