I had to read that a few times and listen to the story twice in order to come to an assumption it was the driver and the driver's spouse who where killed, not people in the house.

The story says 8 in the motorhome weren't hurt, so I'm guessing there were 10 in the motorhome? This could have been much worse with at least 10 dead and maybe more with home residents involved as well.
