Blue Ox Tow Bar/Base Plate - Customer Service

Last week stopped in Pender, NE to have the Blue Ox Aventa LX Tow Bar inspected and the Blue Ox Base Plate installation examined.

They sure have a nice park for customers to stay when servicing their products without cost. We stayed 2 days, and could have stayed longer. Not much in the area. None the less, they offered a longer stay without cost if we chose.

They serviced the 5 year Tow Bar, cleaned and replaced a couple of washers.

They inspected the base plate installation. And made some adjustments to the vehicle hood and front fender assembly. The base plate was installed correctly. However, a clip on the fender assembly was broken and could not be repaired. Not sure if it happened during installation, or as a result of a parking lot encounter with a grocery cart or? Anyway, All is well, hopefully for another 5 years for the Tow Bar; and the bracket until I trade for another vehicle.

The Owner of Blue OX passed away just before our arrival. They had his funeral the day we left. He was well thought of in the community and by employees.

Blue OX customer service is fantastic.

They charged a very reasonable fee for examining and adjusting the front fender/hood, and trimming of the grill plate. However, when I asked about the tow bar servicing cost, they told me they included that cost in the Base Plate inspection/adjustment.

It is really nice and enjoyable doing business with companies that understand customer service concerns and provide quality of service.

I Will Return......for our next base plate.

Blue Ox customer service is great. Anytime I have a question, I email them and they almost always get back to me within the hour and even check back with me to see if I need anything future. I would definitely recommend their products.

I believe it was this owner who continued to pay employees during the recession but sent them out to do needed work in the community. Am I right in that recollection? Was there any talk of it?
